Roland’s advanced Photo Marking System features an advanced carbide-tipped stylus cartridge. Its ultra hard tips produce brilliant, photo-realistic graphics in four different modes: text mode delivers 265dpi output, photo mode achieves 353dpi, high resolution mode pulls off an amazing 529dpi, and vector mode makes it quick and easy whether you want to produce delicate script lettering or bold filled lettering at 1058 dpi.
As Roland’s fourth-generation Photo Impact Printer, the MPX-80 can personalize both flat and curved giftware like pens, cuff links and money clips. The desktop device uses a head cap to allow curved surfaces to be imprinted. A center vise helps keep items secure during production.
The cartridge has nine ultra-hard tips that produce brilliant, photo-realistic graphics. Included head management software indicates when a new tip is needed and automatically changes it. When the cartridge finally goes through all of its “nine lives,” it easily swaps out with another. And new head caps let you output onto items with curved surfaces such as pens, cuff links and money clips.
With a USB port, the MPX-80 sets up as easily as a desktop printer. Once you are up and running, you'll be ready to imprint in just three quick steps. Import an image via scanner or digital camera. Layout and edit your graphics. Then just press print!
The MPX-80 permanently imprints text and images into acrylic, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, gold, silver, platinum and metallic stickers. And nothing is wasted, as no material is removed.
Compact and fully enclosed, the MPX-80 impact printer runs quietly and safely in any jewelry store, gift shop and photography studio. It can also be easily moved for producing souvenirs at special events, such as weddings, baseball games and pet shows.
The MPX-80 comes with METAZA Studio. The photo editing software imports data files in JPEG or BMP format and accepts data from digital cameras and compatible scanners. It even helps manage images — add text, frames and borders, remove backgrounds, and rotate text and images. It also supports vector designs, which allows for faster, more precise production of text and line art.
Roland's international ISO certification is your quality assurance. Like all Roland products, the MPX-80 was designed and manufactured at a state-of-the-art, ISO-certified facility. Roland builds all products at its advanced Digital Factory one at a time by a single assembler - just like a Rolls Royce. Attention to detail is given the highest priority.
